Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont, will sponsor a free community event, "Summer Splash," on Sunday, August 22 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. The event will be held on the church's property at 38801 Blacow Road, Fremont, and will include food, live music, games, crafts and activities. There is no charge.

Tim Huff, pastor at Holy Trinity, said, "Our community is made up of approximately 12 nationalities and cultures We want to welcome everyone, who lives and works in the area to join the festivities," he noted. He added that the congregation hopes to make this an annual event. The activities will follow Huff's installation as pastor of the congregation earlier in the day.
