Fall Festival of the Arts planned
This year's Fall Festival of the Arts promises to be bigger and better than ever before! The Union City festival will be held October 8th in the Old Alvarado Park next to the Saturday Farmers' Market.
The Fall Festival committee is planning something for everyone including live music, a Fun House for the kids as well as great food and wine from local restaurants and wineries!
Artists from around the area will be selling photography, oils, watercolor, mixed media, custom jewelry, pottery, custom wood crafts and more. Logan High School students will also participate with a multicultural art display.
The Fall Festival is supported by Union City Friends/Union City Leisure Services, Paddy's Cafè, Art Association of the East Bay, and the Lions Club of Union City.
Sponsors from the area include, Tri-Ced Recycle, Pasta Pomodoro, Paddy's Cafè, Marcel Miranda, TriCityVoice, Aborn Pet Hospital and Kinko's
Donations should be mailed to Union City Friends, c/o Diane La Mountaine, 30717 Canterbury Ct., Union City, CA 94587. Make check out to Union City Friends/Fall Festival. This is a non-profit event; all proceeds go back into a fund to continue the event and support the arts.
