The Second Year of Fremont Senior Center Summer Supper Shows kicks off on Thursday, July 29, 6 p.m., with a Jazz and Dinner Night. Chef Riley and crew will prepare an elegant dinner of Barbecued Salmon with a Basil and Ginger Butter Compound, Roasted Potatoes, Asparagus topped with Hollandaise Sauce, followed by a delicious dessert.
Chuck Dillenbeck and the East Bay Stompers will provide the music featuring Dixieland, Jazz, Swing, and Big Band sounds. Come prepared to dance the night away!
The second Summer Supper Show will be a country barbecue hosted by Chef Riley on Thursday, August 26, 6 p.m. Chef Riley and crew will be serving barbecued ribs, chicken, and tri-tip, corn on the cob, potato salad, barbecue beans, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. "You haven't had barbecue until you have had Riley's!"
The Saddleracks' Head of Dancing Instruction, Rita Archer, will be on hand to guide you through Western dance steps. Don't be shy! Rita is terrific with newcomers and old timers alike. Put on your country wear and prepare for a night of fabulous food and great dancing.
The public is welcome to attend the dinners. Tickets are available at the Fremont Senior Center. Members are $20 per person, non-member Seniors are $22 per person, and "youngsters" under 55 are $25 per person. Join in the fun at the Fremont Senior Center, 40086 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont.
