Centerville Unified Site Updateby Jennifer Anderson
The Fremont Redevelopment Agency voted to extend the Exclusive Right to Negotiate Agreement (ERNA) with Charter Development until September 7th. The additional time was granted to permit staff to review the proposal and receive community feedback. The Board will then either proceed with final negotiations with Charter Development or allow the ERNA to expire and look at other options. Charter's current proposal is updated on the city's website (www.fremont.gov) under "Redevelopment" and then "Centerville". Additional elevations will be added when they are received from the Developer. Charter Development will be making a number of public presentations on their new concept plan in the coming months. July 8th - Planning Commission Workshop 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. in the Ardenwood room at 3300 Capitol Avenue. The site plan and a limited number of elevations will be available for this meeting. The presentation will be made by Carl Campos of Loving and Campos Architects. August 5th - Historic and Architectural Review Board 7 p.m. in the Niles Room at 39550 Liberty Street. The site plan and a complete set of elevations will be presented by Peter Stackpole of Loving and Campos Architects. This meeting is to specifically address concerns regarding the project's potential impact to the Pioneer Cemetery. August 11th - Centerville Business Association 7:30 a.m. This meeting is tentatively scheduled to be held in the Niles Room at 39550 Liberty Street. The site plan and a complete set of elevations and residential townhome layouts will be presented by Peter Stackpole of Loving and Campos Architects.
