July 6, 2004 > Fremont Cultural Arts Commission (FCAC) Installs Board for 2004-05

The annual FCAC dinner, held Monday, June 28th at the Market Broiler Restaurant in Fremont to install new officers took on a nostalgic tone this year. Dick McKay, president of the organization for the last 16 years, bid adieu to the group. Past associates including a former law partner and Jan Perkins, Fremont City Manager, were among the guests that lauded Mr. McKay for his long years of service to the Fremont arts community.

Taking the reins and ushering in a new era, is Chairperson Margaret Thornberry who will work with the elected board for the next year. The new board, sworn in by Ms. Perkins, includes:
