Union City Man Combines Brain and Body PowerCeri Hitchcock-Hodgson
Gregory Adler, originally from Union City, was recently awarded 1st place along with $50,000 in the Met-Rx National Bodybuilding Competition for 2004. The title establishes him as a Met-Rx endorsed athlete. His title was announced at the Contra Costa Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships held at Chabot College on May 8th. Adler is now an official spokesperson for the company and will attend trade shows and photo shoots as a representative of Met-Rx.
Adler was raised in Union City where he attended James Logan High School. During high school he was a top athlete who excelled in track and field as well as other sports. He graduated magna cum laude in 1996 and was awarded seven block letters in sports. He then went on to UC Berkeley where he also graduated with honors. Adler currently lives in Sacramento having just received a degree from the UC Davis School of Law.
