Everyone is talking about Ardenwood Adventures!
Summer is here and it's time to register for Park'n It Summer Day Camp - A Regional Parks Adventure at Ardenwood Historic Farm! Put on your boots and overalls and come on down to life on the farm! Spend a week learning what it was like for farmers 100 years ago. Feed the animals, harvest the wheat, tend to the garden, cook on a wood burning stove, and make home made ice cream! We'll play lots of games, do arts & crafts, and take a trip to the ole swimming hole at Quarry Lakes.
An excursion to an Ohlone Indian site at Coyote Hills will also be included in this fun-filled week! A 10% discount is given for each additional child in a family or for additional sessions when enrolled in more than one. Camperships, provided by the Regional Parks Foundation, are available for low-income, disabled or foster care children. Each child can receive $200/summer, which would cover the cost of a one-week session of camp. Please visit www.ebparks.org or call (510) 544-2554 for more information. |
