Eric T. Lee Chosen for National Honors
Eric T. Lee of Hayward has been selected to participate in the National Student Leadership Conference (NSCL). Lee, 16, is one of approximately 8000 students chosen from high schools in the United States and internationally to participate in the distinguished program. Lee is a junior at Washington High School where he excels in both academics and leadership. While at the conference, Lee will participate in various workshops and classes that will help develop both communication and leadership skills. In recent programs, NSLC students met have with Secretary of Education Rod Paige, Supreme Court Justices Kennedy, Souter and O'Connor, former Attorney General Janet Reno, former Secretary of State Madeline Albright as well as Pentagon and White House Officials.
