The Fremont Youth Symphony will present their final concert of the season in Smith Center, Ohlone College, on Sunday, May 23, at 4 pm. The program will include Beginning and Intermediate String students, Wind Ensemble, Repertory Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra, and will feature piano soloist Alan Chen in Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, students and children, and will be available at the door.

With nearly 150 students from Fremont, Newark, Union City and surrounding areas, the Fremont Youth Symphony is completing its fifth season under the direction of Larry Osborne. Open to students from elementary school through high school, FYS offers extensive programs throughout the school year and a week-long summer music camp in August.
