Open Mike for Teen Poets

Teen poets are invited to unleash their poetry at Newark Library on Tuesday, April 27th from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. as poet and Newark Memorial High School teacher Trish Wilson hosts an open mike. Students in Ms. Wilson's poetry class will be among the performing poets. All poetry lovers are welcome to listen. The event celebrates April as National Poetry Month. Philanthropic Ventures Foundation is sponsoring the program.
