Scotland Comes to the Tri-Cities
Ardenwood Historic Farm will cede part of its property to Scotland for a day on Saturday, April 3rd. Tartan Day, a family gathering, presented by the Tri-Cities Scottish Association of California, will bring the feisty and strong-willed Scots together as they peaceably demonstrate their proud heritage and prowess in martial arts, dance and music.
The soul of Scotland - its sights and sounds - run deep in the descendants of the clans and for visitors who become a "Scot for the Day" and identifying with the sound of bagpipes and drums is easy. Tunes and dance of this proud land will captivate all within their sight and sounds while clan societies provide details of their place in history.
A full day of events is set to entertain the whole family. Come by to visit with Barbary Grant Harpist, Caliban, BlackLyst, Bog An Lochan, Clan Iain Abrach, Gaesatae, Highland Kingdom of the Gael and many others. Feel the strength and emotion of ranks of bagpipers accompanied by the rhythmic accompaniment of drummers.
This event is a must see!
