Ensambles de Ballet Folklorico de San Francisco Performs

As part of our celebration of National Library Week, the Union City Library will present Ensambles Ballet Folklorico de San Francisco on Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. Generously funded by the Alameda County Library Foundation, this free program is appropriate for the entire family. Founded in 1992, this group is an enthusiastic, innovative and theatrical body of dancers, committed to the preservation of one of the richest artistic manifestations of tradition and culture in Mexico. Past performances have included such events as the Stern Grove Festival, the "Pajaros de Nieve" festival in Sonora, Mexico, and the International Congress of Women's Health.
The Union City Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library System, is located at 34007 Alvarado-Niles Road, and is wheelchair accessible. The Library will provide an ASL interpreter for any event with at least 7 working days notice. For more information, call (510) 745-1464. |
