Join the World Storytelling Day!

All over the world, people will tell stories on Spring Equinox 2004, Saturday, March 20th. You can also take part in this celebration of storytelling at the Union City Library from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the Hayward Storytellers.

On World Storytelling Day, as many people as possible tell and listen to stories in as many languages and at as many places as possible, during the same day and night. And tell each other about it in order to share stories and inspiration, learn from each other and create international contacts. Come and join in the world wide celebration.

Union City Library

The Union City Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library, is located at 34007 Alvarado-Niles Road. The Library is wheelchair accessible and arrangements can be made for an ASL interpreter will at least 7 days notice. For more information about this event call (510) 745-1464 extension 7.
