Spin A Yarn at the Newark Libraryby Kathy Steel-Sabo
On Wednesday, March 24th from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at the Newark Library, children of all ages are invited to hear Ardenwood naturalist, Tara Reinertson 'spin' the story Farmer Brown Shears His Sheep. Afterwards she will show how wool is turned into yarn using a spinning wheel from Ardenwood Historic Farm.
This free program is cosponsored by the East Bay Regional Park District, Ardenwood Historic Farm, and the Newark Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library System.
