Volunteers Needed
Tri-City Ecology Center is looking for volunteers to work in the history garden on Saturday, April 10th and Saturday, April 17th. We need help from 9 a.m. to noon on both days. On April 10th, we will be spreading compost and doing garden maintenance. On the 17th we will be planting.
Susan Gearhart will be on hand to educate us on native plants and grasses. She will supervise the work. Susan is a University of California trained Master Gardener and has spent 11 years as a docent in the UC Botanical Garden, primarily in the California Alive section. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about California native plants! Please join us for one or both days.
The garden is located at: The Museum of Local History 190 Anza Street, Fremont
