Fremont Youth Symphony Joins Ohlone Chamber Orchestra for a Sunday Afternoon Concertby Caryl Dockter
The Fremont Youth Symphony will give a joint concert with the Ohlone College Chamber Orchestra at 2 pm on Sunday, March 23, at Smith Center, Ohlone College, 43600 Mission Blvd., Fremont. The program will include music by Morton Gould, Gustav Holst and Richard Rodgers, among others. Chris Wilhite will perform a Telemann trumpet concerto, and Fremont Youth Symphony principal flutist Joanna Tse will perform Doppler's Hungarian Pastoral Fantasy.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and are available through the Ohlone College box office, 510-659-6031 or at the door. Those tickets will also grant admission to a concert immediately following by the Fremont Youth Symphony's Beginning and Intermediate Strings, Wind Ensemble and Repertory Orchestra.
