February 3, 2004 > A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust, and a hearty Hi Yo Silver! The Lone Ranger Rides Again!

Seventy-one years ago today, those words heralded the first broadcast of The Lone Ranger from radio station WXYZ in Detroit, Michigan. The show quickly became one of the most popular radio programs of all time and live broadcasts continued three days a week for the next twenty-one years.

On March 5th. and 6th., at Mission Coffee Roasting Company, the Fremont Occasional Theatre will present live staged radio productions of an episode each of The Lone Ranger and The Adventures of Orphan Annie.

So, make a note on your calendar and return with us to those thrilling days of yesteryear!
