Massimo's Moves Back to the Future!

It's All About Quality, Product and Service

Massimo's is returning to its roots and the legacy of founder, Bill Rinetti, Sr. who, in 1976, created this Fremont icon. Bill, Jr. and his mother, Marie, have welcomed back Chef Jose Luis Gonzalez after a year's absence. Luis continues his 18 year relationship with Massimo's and management and customers are excited by his return. Bill, Marie and Ramon Garcia, also a Massimo's veteran with an impeccable background in dining management, will greet customers and make sure the dining areas continue at Massimo's professional high standards. Bill says, "Massimo's means quality and we will make sure our customers receive service and meals that rival any of the best restaurants of the Bay Area."

In order to concentrate his full attention on the restaurant, Bill reluctantly closed Massimo's cafˇ but has not forgotten the many customers who stopped by to enjoy quality meals at modest prices in the casual atmosphere. Previous patrons of the cafˇ will be pleased to know that the lunch menu of Massimo's restaurant has expanded to include "value priced" entrees giving the best of all worlds: high quality food and service combined with a wide range of pricing in a relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere.

The Rinetti tradition of fine evening dining at Massimo's will continue; Bill promises his personal interest in all facets of the business. Attention to detail and patron satisfaction including special requests will assure that each customer is given the full attention of Massimo's staff to create a superb dining experience. Bill says, "I want to focus on the best of everything at Massimo's - the freshest fish, best meats, the highest attention to preparation, presentation and service. I will be an active participant in the process and make sure Massimo's is second to none." Tableside preparation of specialty dishes is an exceptional feature at Massimo's when customers are treated to a "show" during preparation of Caesar Salad, Steak Diane and Cherries Jubilee - a treat for the eyes and palate!

Bill says that he is preparing a special take-out menu for those on the go. Pasta, salads and meat entrees will be available at value prices. He adds that Massimo's catering has remained popular for home and office parties while a variety of dining rooms at the restaurant accommodate banquets of all sizes.

The Massimo's "family" has pledged to make your next visit an enjoyable and memorable experience. This family not only includes Bill, Marie, Luis and Ramon, but the entire staff and their customers, the most important members. Join them for lunch or dinner and become part of the family!

Bill says that he is planning a special 5-course menu including a variety of selections for Valentine's Day. Be sure to make your reservations early!
